Kuźnia Matrycowa Sp. z o.o. [ Drop Forging Ltd] was founded on February 8, 2002 but the beginnings of its production reached back to 1957. This tradition is a source of knowledge and experience, which is used in the current operation of the Company. Kuźnia Matrycowa specializes in forge production of carbon steel (regular and higher quality) and alloy construction steel as well as high alloy steel forging (stainless and heat resistant). Our products are made for all branches of the industry, in particular for the automotive industry (85% of the production), mining (6% of production ) and the machine industry (9% of production). Quality of our products resulted in that 70% of the current production is intended for export to the following countries: Great Britain (ADWEST), Germany (BPW), Denmark (GKN, DANFOS), Italy (GKN), Spain (DANA).

Types of products ►suspension, power unit, engine, steering and power system elements, transmission thrust units, mining conveyors, pressure system flanges. Forge parameters ► weight range: 0,3kg -115kg max: 2000 mm long. Machine park ► Counterblow hammer 40Tm – (30 kg – 115 kg) ▪ Forge hammers – 10t, 5t, 3t,2t, 1t (1,5 kg – 35 kg) ▪ presses – 2500T, 1500T, 630T (1 kg – 10 kg) ▪ Upset forging machines – 6”, 4” (max. forge avg. 152,4 may; 101,6 mm). Heat processing ►Isothermal annealing ▪ Heat quenching and tempering ▪ Standardizing. Finishing processes ► Clearing (shot blasting) ▪ Straightening ▪ Calibration

Quality
The Company operation is based on quality system in accordance with the ISO 9002 norm as well as QS 9000 requirements with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) as well as a Statistic Process Control (SPC). Forging is produced in exactitude classes: regular F and elevated Europe as per the PN- EN 10243 norm (DIN 7526 norm). The company also has a pressure forging producer recognition certificate in accordance to the European Union’s directive no.: 97/23/EC.
